June, '08 I'm back! I feels like I fell off Mother Earth about six or so months ago. A lot has changed since I last updated this site so here's the news. I'm finally gainfully employed as a full time Humanities Teacher at Adams City Middle School! Yep, that's right, after nearly 6 years of being in college finishing a BA in History, working on an MA and a teaching license I can finally say I'm done! (except for that blasted MA which I'm still a few credits short of getting, but not for long) So what does this mean for Painting Raven Studios. This little experiment/venture which I started back in February of 2003 has helped me get through college by providing a chance for me to make some extra cash to help pay bills. For that I am grateful. Furthermore, painting is a very meditative and therapeutic activity for me, so when I'm able to have time to do it, I love it. Thus, Painting Raven Studios will keep going for as long as I can hold a brush and put paint to metal. Of course, being a teacher means that I will only be able to offer miniatures during the summers or during breaks. But, you never know, I may find time on the weekends too, during the school year to paint. So please, check back once and awhile to see what I'm up to. Anywho, I've revamped the site a little, as you've probably noticed, and I'm back to painting. Of course, I'm not going to have near as much time as I once used to, but I think I'll have a couple of pieces up for auction by month's end and again near the end of July. Until Next Time....
